TURNER – Finalists have been established in the Leavitt Area High School Men’s Basketball League playoffs. It’ll be defending champ Dubord Realty (2) taking on Ben Alpren Machine (1) in a rematch of last year’s finals. That best-of-three championship series has been set over to April 6 due to the Rangeley tourney.
In semifinal playoff action Sunday, Alpren outlasted Ruff Riders (3) 96-85 as Dane Pomerleau netted 22 points. Josh Morin scored 28 for Riders.
Dubord ousted Gemini Nutrition (4) 94-74 as Aaron St. Pierre tossed in 22. Sherwin McKenzie led Gemini with 18.
April 6 schedule: 5:00, Consolation game, Ruff Riders vs Gemini; 6:30, Dubord vs Alpren (game 1 of championship series).
