NORWAY – Fare Share Commons will host a talk and book signing by Dr. Ken Hamilton from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the Commons at 445 Main St.

Hamilton’s book, “SoulCircling, the Journey to the Who,” grew out of a lifetime of experience with healing and healers that took him into medicine and surgery.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. A book signing will follow his talk. Books will be available on site.A portion of each sale benefits the H.O.P.E. Center.

School open house

OXFORD – An open house for the Boxberry School, an independent elementary program for grades K-3 kindergarten to three will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Androscoggin Home Health Care and Hospice on the Pottle Road.

People may meet staff, ask questions and view the future building site for the school.

Kantele Consort

PARIS – The Maine Kantele Consort will perform in concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

Included will be entertainment, refreshments, and raffles.

Donations will be accepted at the door to benefit the Maine Kantele Institute. The concert’s original scheduled date of April 5 was canceled due to inclement weather. For more information phone 657-6494.

Rummage sale

WATERFORD – The Waterford Congregational Church will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Wilkins Community House next to the church on Plummer Hill.
