1944 – 2003

MEXICO – Carol G. Fitzgerald Thibodeau, 59, of 85 Granite St., Mexico, died Saturday, May 17, at her home.

She was born Jan. 19, 1944, in Hartford, Conn., the daughter of Leo and Irene Fitzgerald. The family moved back to Rumford on Rangeley Place when she was a child. She attended Stephens High School.

She worked as a bookkeeper for many local businesses. She was the proud owner of Jacks Place on Rangeley Place. She was the most fair and open minded person and was truly loved by people from every walk of life.

She will be sadly missed by her five grandchildren whom she adored, Jesse Theriault, Joshua Allen, Kim and Cole Clark and Jack Lavorgna all of Mexico.

She leaves behind two daughters, Lynda Allen and Gwen Clark both of Mexico, both of whom are so proud and grateful to be her daughters; her brother, Timmy and his wife, Darlene Fitzgerald of Roxbury Pond.

She was predeceased by both parents; her dad in 1978, and her mom in 2002; and a very special son-in-law, Mark Allen, whom she loved like a son.
