RUMFORD – Oxford Federal Credit Union won honorable mention for the Dora Maxwell Award at the Maine Credit Union League annual convention in Portland, May 2.

The Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Awards honor credit unions for their commitment to the community.

Oxford Federal Credit Union prepared its entry by highlighting the many hours of volunteer work done by each employee over the course of a year.

In acknowledging this entry, Maine Credit Union League’s Jon Paradise said, “I want to commend everyone at Oxford Federal Credit Union for its commitment to the community. OFCU is an outstanding example of the Credit Union philosophy of ‘People Helping People,’ through outstanding service to your members and for being such a socially responsible member of your community.”
