Glencliff, N.H. – Clifton L. “Cliff” Chadbourne Jr., 71, died Friday, June 27 at the Glencliff Home.
The son of Clifton and Irene Brackley Chadbourne Sr., he was born in Freeman, Maine, on Jan. 3, 1932. He was raised in Freeman, and had lived in Pembroke, N.H., for 40 years before retiring to Glencliff.
He worked as a lumberjack and for the highway departments of both the State of New Hampshire and the Town of Pembroke.
Members of his family include two sisters, Beverly Pillsbury of Freeman, and Evangeline Raylo of Ramsenville, N.Y.; two aunts, Emeline of Epsom, N.H., and Irene of Allenstown, N.H.; and nieces and nephews.
