WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sen. Susan Collins announces that Erik Munn of Norway has accepted an appointment to the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y.; John Damon of Livermore has accepted an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.; Scott Skibitsky of Dixfield has accepted an appointment to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Timothy Roberts of Farmington has accepted an appointment to the Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y.

Collins nominated all four to be considered for the class of 2007. To be considered, an applicant must have a nomination from an authorized nominating source, which includes members of Congress.
