1943 – 2003

LEWISTON – Lawrence P. Morin, 59, a resident of Blake Street Towers died unexpectedly Monday morning, July 7, at his residence.

He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 1, 1943, the son of Rene and Ella (Fontaine) Morin. He attended Lewiston schools, and was employed as a welder for both Diamond Machine and Valley Engineering until his disability in 2001. He loved music, art and scuba diving.

Survivors include one son, Mr. Steven Morin and his wife Karen of Greene; two daughters, Catherine Caron and her husband, Scott of Lisbon Falls, and Michelle Morin of Greene; two brothers, Mr. Donald Morin and his wife Jackie of Lewiston, and Mr. Maurice Morin and his wife, Collette of Chicopee, Mass.; five grandchildren, Christopher, Brian, Matthew, Kristin, and Beth; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, James Morin; and one sister, Claudette Deveaudreil.
