Robin Dow session
AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the American Legion Hall on Washington Street. After the meeting and bag lunch, bingo will be played.
Sixty-eight members attended the last meeting led by President Audrey Fleming. New members are Lorraine Collins and Larry Manser. Kay Koss and Elise Whitney won the attendance prize, and Dora Gayton, Irene Lapointe and Ed Laine the pot-of-gold.
Lucien Marcoux reported a foliage trip will be run by Evelyn Sawin Sept. 26, which includes leaving from a Portland pier, with dinner following at the Village Inn. The group will then take a bus trip up Route 1 to Augusta before returning to Auburn.

WINTHROP – A community blood drive will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at St. Francis Parish Hall, Lake Street. The drive is open to all donors.

GRAY – Friends of the Maine Wildlife Park will set up an exhibit about their support organization on Sunday, Aug. 31. The group is always looking for new volunteers to help with flowers, gardens, helping visitors and operating the snack shack. LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on Aug. 19 at the Multi-Purpose Center.
