LEWISTON – France Shea has been named education services coordinator for Maine Public Broadcasting.

Shea, of Auburn, is responsible for implementing all of Maine Public Broadcasting’s current educational preschool, K-12, post secondary and lifelong learning services, as well as developing new related educational services. She will also research and develop grant proposals.

Prior to her taking the position, Shea held a variety of other positions with Maine Public Broadcasting, most recently as manager of community relations.

Maine Public Broadcasting is the largest Maine-based member supported organization in the state, providing public television, radio and education services to audiences in Maine, New Hampshire and New Brunswick through Maine PBS and Maine Public Radio.
