AUBURN – Ruth Gibson of Auburn will take part in the Ms. Senior Sweetheart Pageant of America for women from ages 60 to 86 in Fall River, Mass.

Fall River and New Bedford will host more than 40 women in the pageant, which includes talent, gown presentation, two production numbers (a patriotic routine and a ’50s number), interviews and travel tours. The pageant began in 1978 in Fall River and New Bedford.

The women will take part in events from Friday, Oct. 24, to Monday, Nov. 3. The show days are Oct. 30 (all talent presentations) and Nov. 2, when the winner is chosen.
