1912 – 2003

LEWISTON – Geneva I. Cascadden, 91, formerly of 71 High Street, Auburn died Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Russell Park Rehabilitation & Living Center following a short illness.

She was born in Lewiston on Aug. 17, 1912, the daughter of Albert and Cassie (Parker) Pray and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was a graduate of Edward Little High School having graduated in the Class of 1932.

She was the widow of Kenneth W. Cascadden Sr. whom she married in August of 1936.

She was employed in the local shoe industry then became a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Michael’s Church in Auburn and the Auburn Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Cascadden enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Cascadden Jr. of Lewiston; one granddaughter, Lisa Fitzsimmons and her husband Danny of Lewiston; one great-grandson, Shawn Fitzsimmons of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers; and four sisters.
