BANGOR – Kristin Pelletier drilled a penalty kick after a hand ball to lift Husson College to a 3-2 win over Bay Path College in women’s soccer action Friday afternoon.

Janie Michaud and Betriz added single goals to account for the Braves final score.

Bay Path was paced by Jennifer Fay with a pair of goals.

DURHAM, N.H.- Brittany Schneider scored a goal on a penalty stroke 9:21 into the first overtime session to lift the University of New Hampshire to a 3-2 win over the University of Maine in field hockey action Friday.

The Black Bears (12-5) took the early lead as Rachel Hilgar converted a feed from Karly Bundy at 22:58 of the first half. Hilgar again put the Bears up in the second half scoring a second half unassisted goal but Maine could not hold the lead as Sam Carr answered with an unassited goal at 60:01 to set the stage for Schneider’s game-winning shot.
