AUBURN – Auburn Youth Hockey Travel Squirts went 1-1-1 during weekend action. Waterville Travel Squirts edged Auburn 2-1. Jordan Haskell scored the lone Auburn goal, with Brenden Dewick assisting. Goalie Jameson Finch made 20 saves. . . Haskell netted 2 goals and Dylan Nadeau added a goal and an assist as the Auburn Travelers tied Lewiston Travel 3-3. Finch was credited with 30 stops. . . Auburn rolled to an 8-0 win over Kennebec Travel Squirts as Finch was called upon to make just 6 saves. Drew Lupardo, Nadeau and Cody Russell each potted 2 goals. Haskell and Evan Baggs scored 1 each. Credited with assists were Lupardo (2), Haskell (3), Nadeau, Chris Tarr and Dewick.

Auburn Peewees edged Maranacook 5-4 as Matthew Reed notched a hat trick. Erik Wisutskie scored the other 2. Receiving assists were Matt Cote (2), Cote Russell and Elizabeth Barclay.

The Servpro Squirts defeated Lee Auto Mall 7-2. Ian Durgin and Isaac Reed each notched 2 goals. Adding 1 apiece were Tyler Dostie, Travis Landry and Logan Pushard. Credited with assists were Reed (2), Landry and Pushard.

Lewiston Area League

LEWISTON – The Lewiston Peewee Pirates earned 2 wins in weekend action. The Pirates defeated the Lewiston Bears 5-3 as Drew Bert, Brian Lagasse, Cam Fillion, Patrick Collins and Cam Obie all lit the lamp. Assists went to Fillion, Collins (2), Josh Smith, Eagan Nadeau, Ryan Urquhart and Obie. Logan Van Vlack was solid in net. Jason Burgess netted 2 goals for the Bears. Conroy Leblond scored the other. . . Lagasse collected 2 more goals as the Pirates knocked off the Lewiston Eagles 5-3. Obie, Bent and Nadeau also scored. Obie received an assist. Net duties were shared by Willie Tyner and Van Vlack.
