LIVERMORE – A public hearing is scheduled Tuesday to accept comment on a proposed retail building on Route 4. The 4,000-square-foot building is planned to go between Sit N Bull and the town’s recreation fields.

The hearing on the site review application on the construction of a building at 1456 Federal Road begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Town Office.

Arthur J. Hall said he wants to put in three retail stores in the one building estimated to be about 120 feet by 40 feet.

Hall said he plans to be choosy about what type of businesses he would allow at the site to make sure it fits in the town.

It’s a nice level area, said Hall, who also owns Sit N Bull.

There has been some interest, he said, including from custom cabinetmakers and a clothing store.

Town Administrative Assistant Kurt Schaub said new businesses would be an asset to the town.
