AUBURN – The Greene-Turner Lady Hornets defeated Auburn Travel 42-31 in a Central Maine Seventh-Eighth-Grade Rec Travel Basketball League contest waged at Central Maine Community College. Juliana Kirkland sparked the Hornets with 12 points. Ariane Bowie and Morgen Bernier added 9 each. Brooke Bernier and Jess Fields led the defensive charge as Greene built an 18-point lead before Auburn chipped it down to 6 behind the shooting of Kristen Prue (10) and Kim Lawrence (6).
