LISBON – Katie Pushard netted seven points as Winthrop escaped Lisbon with a 29-23 victory in girls’ basketball action Monday evening.
Anna Warner and Renee St. Hilaire combined for 12 points to aid the Ramblers attack.
The contest was tied 10-10 at halftime, but Winthrop (2-8) steadily pulled away in the third quarter to notch the victory.
The Greyhounds (0-11) were led by Krystal Doughty with a game-high 17 points.
Livermore Falls 55, Carrabec 45
LIVERMORE FALLS – Taryn Flagg poured in a game-high 23 points to spark Livermore Falls to a 55-45 triumph over Carrabec.
Caryn Howell chipped in with 13 points for the Andies (3-7).
The Cobras (0-10) were paced by Meaghan Merrill, who drained 11 points.
Pine Tree 35, Hebron 22
HEBRON -Brittany Lounder drained 14 points as Pine Tree defeated Hebron 35-22.
Rachel Houtman netted nine points, while Abbie Dawes chipped in with six for Pine Tree (6-4).
Maddy Campbell and Danielle Dawson scored seven points apiece for Hebron (1-4).
Jay 50, Monmouth 24
JAY – Sara Fetterhoff recorded 17 points and eight rebounds as Jay (8-2) dominated over Monmouth 50-24 in girl’s basketball Monday evening.
Trista Morin sank 10 points to pace the Monmouth (2-8) effort.
