LEWISTON – The Andy Valley School of Gymnastics Boys Gymnastics Team earned high marks at the season’s first meet competition held last weekend in Augusta.

Spencer Wigton, competing in Level 4 (ages 12+) took first in all-around, as well as floor exercise, rings, parallel bars and high bars.

He finished second on pommel horse and vault.

In Level 6 (6-7), Dylan Tanguay tied for first in all-around and won the horse event. He placed second on floor and vault, third on high bar, and fifth on PB. Max Soifer finished fifth in all-around, rings, vault and high bar, while placing third on floor, and fourth on pommel. Stefan Sandreuter placed sixth on floor, pommel, and both bars.

In Level 7 (8-9), Josh Abrams won all-around and PB. He placed second on floor, pommel, rings and vault, and third on high bar.

Nicholas Hatfield tied for second in all-around. He won floor and took second on PB and high bar, third on rings, fifth on pommel, and sixth on vault.

In Level 7 (6-7), Devon Harrison took second all-around, vault and PB. He finished third on floor, pommel and rings, while winning the high bar.

In Level 7 (10-11), Patrick Rojas placed second on all-around, floor, pommel, PB and high bar, and third on rings and vault.
