WILTON – Residents have until Friday, Jan. 30, to renew dog and kennel licenses. The town typically registers about 600 dogs; about half have been registered so far. Anyone who registers a dog after Jan. 30 will be charged a late fee of $15, in addition to the cost of the license. Fees for dog licensing have gone up statewide. The charge for neutered or spayed dogs rose from $4 to $6 this year. Male and female dogs that are not neutered or spayed will cost $10 to license, up from $7.50.
