TURNER – Dubord Realty/Ranor remained just 2 games behind league Ben Alpren Machine in the Leavitt Area Men’s Basketball League Sunday with a 103-91 victory over Ruff Riders. Aaron St. Pierre (28) and Scott Bessey (27) sparked the winners. James Whirley tossed in 24 for Riders.

Alpren stayed unbeaten with a 110-86 win over Shooters. Jason Leclerc led with 26 points. Dan Coleman, Shawn Spadea and Nate Pelletier all added 21. Chip Webster (22) and Tommy Beckwith (19) paced Shooters.

Sherwin McKenzie netted 29 and Jeff Smith added 24 as Gemini Nutrition beat Lisbon Road Animal Hospital 96-81. Mike Grahm led Hospital with 26. Mark Hreben added 20.

Mike Hathaway poured in 39 points to power Sturtevant & Ham Insurance to an 85-72 triumph over Lost Crusaders. Dave Zutter tallied 23 for Crusaders.

In the Auburn Rec Men’s Slowdown League, Roopers edged Brew Crew 63-55 in overtime. Jesse St. Laurent led the winners with 21 points. Greg Viner added 14, including 4 in the extra session. Todd Crossley and Keith Danner each netted 14 for the Crew. Tallus Miles hit four 3-pointers.
