AUBURN – The Customer Service Certificate series has returned at Central Maine Community College. The 12-hour, interactive program will expose students to the importance of building a culture of high quality customer service in your organization.

Classes are 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Feb 25 to March 24; no class March 17. They will be held at the college at 1250 Turner St.

The program examines what is customer service and understanding the importance of creating a culture of customer service. Participants also learn to communicate with customers using tested techniques in a variety of media channels; and how a customer’s perspective and experiences elsewhere can impact what they expect from you.

The program also looks at maintaining high quality customer service in today’s competitive world.

The series is presented by Jim Handy, formerly employed by L.L. Bean. He has more than 14 years of experience in customer service program design, training and as a customer service representative.

The cost is $195 per person and includes materials. The second person from the same company receives a 50 percent discount.
