LEWISTON – A surprise party was held recently for Peter and Elissa Lauze of Lewiston, on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary.

The event was planned by their daughters, Tammy Allard and Katie Lauze, and was held at Davinci’s Restaurant in Lewiston.

A surprise gift from their daughters was a photographic video, shown to all attending and set to some of their favorite music, “Time in a Bottle” and “Through the Years.” The video showed their lives for the past 25 years.

Mr. Lauze and the former Elissa A. Garabedian were married on Oct 28, 1978, in Lewiston. They have two daughters, Tammy M. Allard and her husband, Gary, and Katie A. Lauze. They also have a grandson, Dustin Allard.

Mrs. Lauze is a retired registered nurse and Mr. Lauze is employed as a sheet metal mechanic at Bath Iron Works. Both are members of the Auburn United Methodist Church.

Original wedding guests attending were best man, George Lauze, his brother, and maid of honor, Rosemary Fitzgibbon, her sister. Also attending was Mr. Lauze’s mother, Ernestine Lauze.

Guests attended from Lewiston, Auburn, Durham, Greene, Manchester, Madison, Monmouth, Gray, Windham and Scarborough.
