WALES – Oak Hill’s Rick Leavitt pitched a complete game no-hitter to improve to 3-0 on the season as Oak Hill pounded Mt. View 10-0 in a baseball matchup on Wednesday.
Wally Rynes had two hits and a triple and Pat Duchette had two hits and a double for Oak Hill (3-1). Kyle Harvey was the starting pitcher for Mt. View (1-3).
Lisbon 15, Livermore Falls 1
LISBON – Aaron Farmer went 2-for-3 with four RBI and hit a three-run double in the bottom of the third to propel Lisbon to a 15-1 rout over Livermore in a baseball game Wednesday.
Tim Sautter pitched the entire seven innings to earn his second win of the season. Lisbon’s John Tefft had three hits in the game. Livermore starting pitcher Brad Bryant took the loss in three innings.
Lewiston 9, Medomak Valley 5
LEWISTON – Lewiston starting pitcher Luke Potter struck out seven batters and hit an RBI single to lead the Blue Devils to a 9-5 victory over Medomak Valley.
Sam Adolphson had three hits and a double for Medomak Valley (0-6). Ben Mendelson also had an RBI single for Lewiston (3-4).
Mountain Valley 6, Madison 3
MADISON – Richie Roff and Marcus Palmer each hit doubles, the only extra base hits of the game, as Mountain Valley slipped past Madison and posted a 6-3 win Wednesday.
Roff and Palmer were the only repeat hitters of the game for the Falcons (3-0). The Bulldogs fall to 1-4.
NYA 4, St. Doms 1
AUBURN – North Yarmouth Academy scored three runs in the top of the seventh as the Panthers stole a 4-1 victory from St. Doms Wednesday.
Luke Welch went 2-for-4 with an RBI single for NYA. Tim Deluca pitched a complete game, giving up just three hits.
Brady Blackman had two hits for the Saints (1-1). All four of the Panthers’ runs were unearned.
Lacrosse
Lewiston 10, Bonny Eagle 3
BUXTON- Jon Fournier netted five goals to round out his streak of 25 goals in the past four games to lift Lewiston to a 10-3 win over Bonny Eagle Wednesday afternoon.
Billy Brooks had 11 saves for the Devils (4-0) and Ben Fournier and Tony Travaligni each chipped in with two goals apiece. The Scots fell to 0-3 as Brandon Taylor, James Stickney and Bryan Ballete each netted a goal.
