LEWISTON – Mr. and Mrs. Steven R. Lauze of Gorham, N.H., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kara Ann, of Shrewsbury, Mass., to Chad C. Plummer of Brunswick, son of Lucille Plummer of South China and Wayne Plummer of South China. The couple was engaged on April 2 during a trip to Aruba.
The future bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lauze of Gorham, N.H., formerly of Lewiston, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gauthier of Gorham, N.H. A graduate of the University of Maine, she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and also received her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Maryland. She currently works as a critical care nurse practitioner at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass.
The future bridegroom is the grandson of Winifred Hall of Zephyrhills, Fla., and the late Harold Winship, and the grandson of Lena Jasmine of Springfield, Mass., and the late Clyde Plummer. He is also a graduate of the University of Maine, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. He is currently employed as an electrical engineer at Bath Iron Works in Bath.
A 2005 wedding is being planned.
