AUBURN – The Institute for Supply Management and the Project Management Institute are co-producing a satellite seminar, Effective Project Management, to be presented at Central Maine Community College. It is set from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 10.
Purchasing and Supply Management professionals, independent business owners and others who deal with project management responsibilities in private and public sectors are invited to participate.
The program will be broadcast to more than 100 affiliate sites nationally.
This program, hosted by ISM affiliate NAPM-Maine Inc., will explore the necessary skill sets, essential steps, and helpful techniques to enable attendees to incorporate contemporary project management best practices into their jobs.
Attendees will have the opportunity to call, e-mail and fax questions to the panel during each of the four one-hour segments of the seminar. Panelists engage in answer and discussion sessions at the end of each segment addressing the participants queries.

Seminar fee for current members of NAPM-Maine or other ISM affiliates, PMI and APICS is $25. Others are $50, including bag lunch and seminar guidebook with references and contact information.
