PARIS – South Paris American Legion Unit 72 has chosen Girls State delegates and alternates, announces Girls State Chairwoman Joyce Linindoll.

Delegates are Jillian Cole, Alicia Flick and Abigail Rogers; alternates, Randi Arsenault, Melissa Brown and Annmarie Foster.

All are juniors at the Oxford Hills Technical and Comprehensive High School and are being sponsored by the South Paris Auxiliary.

Girls State, to be held at Husson College in Bangor, features experiences in leadership, government and democracy. The girls chosen have to meet high standards in scholarship and personality.
