LEWISTON – Sam Kilbourn, a performer who defies logic, gravity and good sense when he asks the audience to believe he does it all without supernatural assistance, will be the first of the summertime Wednesdays in the Park performances at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, at the Multi-Purpose Center.

Kilbourn, of The Wright Bros. ONE!, is a king of tomfoolery, stunts and antics and will make the audience laugh in this first performance in the 25-year history of Wednesdays in the Park. He moves from straight man to prankster with the exuberance and whimsy of a 10-year-old, typically while balanced on one arm, juggling plates, or riding an illusionary escalator to the vicissitudes.

There is no charge to attend the performance. For information, contact Jeanne Strout, recreation coordinator at the Multi-Purpose Center, 784-2926.
