LIVERMORE FALLS – The first Riverbank Gazebo Market is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 26, off Water Street.

Organizers are hoping the market will grow into an agricultural market, with local farmers bringing in their products.

Craft makers and organizations are invited to set up along the Androscoggin riverbank.

So far, three craft makers and two farmers are planning to be at the market, according to an organizer, Faith Nichols.

There is no charge for vendors, she said.

“Our intent is to have it continue to grow,” she said.

If people come on June 26 and there are not a lot of vendors, Nichols said, people should try it again in July.

She said the market will be held on the last Saturday of each month, ending with the Apple/Pumpkin Festival in October.

June’s market is being held the same day as the Livermore Falls-Jay Rotary Club Car Show at the Jay Plaza, Livermore Falls Town Manager Alan Gove said.

Anyone interested in participating as a vendor may phone Nichols at the town office at 897-3321.
