Lewiston took a doubleheader from Sanford, 13-2 and 9-4, in recent 12 and under baseball action. In Game 1 Eric Hall ripped three hits, while Chris Jacques, Frank Welch and Mayke Hyde chipped in with two hits apiece. Alex Brochu, Hall, Jacques and Hyde held Sanford to four hits, while fanning nine batters.

Scott Ouellette, Chris Madden and Hyde led the offense with a pair of hits each in Game 2. Alex Parker, Joe Sullivan and Ouellette combined pitching duties and scattered six Sanford hits. Corbin Hyde, Alex Chicoine and Ryan Lemelin performed well on defense.
