BRUNSWICK – Maine State Music Theatre’s Summer Theatre for Young Audiences will bring Pinocchio, a wooden puppet who wants to become a boy, to the Pickard Theater stage. Pinocchio struggles to make the right decisions in order to realize his dream.

The play’s lesson on the importance of learning to distinguish between right and wrong is brought home with a combination of humor, drama, and spirited songs and dances.

The play is produced by the Gingerbread Players and Jack productions.

“The Adventures of Pinocchio” will be performed Saturday, July 31, 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Orchestra, grand tier and box seats are $10; balcony and super-saver tickets are $6. The box office is in Pickard Theater on the Bowdoin College campus and open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. FMI: call (207) 725-8769 or visit www.msmt.org
