FARMINGTON – Bradford J. “Brad” Cook, 54, of Farmington, formerly of Industry, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, Aug. 15, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington.

He was born in Farmington on Dec. 24, 1949, the son of Kenneth and Rubena (Schulte) Cook.

He was raised in Farmington where he graduated from Farmington High School and excelled in football and baseball. He went on to attend the University of Maine at Orono.

Brad worked at Burgess Shoe Outlet and Morton Motor Co., and for the last 17 years he worked for Blue Rock Industries. He loved to hunt and fish. Music was his passion.

He is survived by his wife, Julie, of Farmington, whom he married, April 25, 1969; his parents, Kenneth “Bud” and Rubena “Beanie” Cook, of Farmington; a brother, Randy, of Farmington; a brother-in-law, Jim Searles and his wife, Claudia, of Bath; three nephews, Tomie and Ryan Cook, and David Searles; a niece Joanna Searles; his golden retriever, Bailey.
