LEWISTON – Patrick J. Pelletier, 81, of 225 Old Greene Road, Lewiston, passed away Saturday, Aug. 28, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
He was born in St. Quentin, New Brunswick, on November 9, 1922, the son of Antoine and Marie-Anne (Fournier) Pelletier.
He was educated in schools in New Brunswick, and worked for Pontiac Center as a mechanic for 30 years, and 13 years with the Lewiston Public Works as a second shift foreman in the Heavy Equipment Department, where he retired.
He was a member of Holy Family Church, and enjoyed playing cards, traveling, gardening and spending quality time with his family.
He is survived by a son, Stanley, of Lewiston; and wife, Doris Pelletier, of Lewiston; two daughters, Shirley Estes, of Lewiston, and Linda Hayes and companion, Linda Arris, of Auburn; 12 brothers, Fernand, and wife, Irene, of Lewiston, Clarence and wife, Claudette, of Lewiston, Leonide and wife, Toni, of Millinocket, Rene and wife, Tootsie, of Millinocket, Leonard and wife, Pauline, of Danville, Lucien and Charlene, of Oxford, Laurier, Donald, Ives, Gaetan, Gille, and Michel, all of Quebec; four sisters, Theresa Thibault, of Lewiston, Germaine and husband, Armand, of Greene, Lucienne Wright, of Bath, and Nicole Pelletier, of Quebec; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bibianne; his youngest son, Mark; three brothers, Laurent, Percy, and Alphee; three sisters, Rita, Bertha, and Marielle.
