AUBURN – Janet R. McCarthy has earned the professional designation certified home marketing specialist, Coldwell Banker Millett Realty owner Sharon Millett announced.

McCarthy recently completed a Coldwell Banker University program, prepared by Martha Webb, the author and producer of Dress Your House for Success. The course provided Coldwell Banker sales associates with an understanding of the importance property merchandising plays in ensuring a profitable and timely sale.

Coldwell Banker University is the national education center for franchisees of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Corporation.

“The course allowed her to recognize that buyer behavior is influenced by a home’s presentation and that there are effective tools available to appeal to the buyer’s emotions,” said Millett.

McCarthy has been affiliated with Coldwell Banker Millett Realty for four years. She is an award-winning Broker Associate that has earned many honors, including Cendant Mobility Affinity Specialist, and 2004 International Diamond Society.
