AUBURN – The Dirigo Dominators defeated Tacoma’s 15-11 Sunday to claim the post-season championship in the Auburn Co-Rec Softball League.

The week before, Tacoma’s edged unbeaten Dominators 8-7 to force a second and deciding contest.

In previous action, Dominators had advanced to the finals with a 9-7 win over JC Penney, and Tacomas toppled Dirty Dozen 24-5 to advance to the semifinal round. Tacomas then beat JC Penney 11-9 to earn a crack at the Dominators.
