Drinking, smoking,

Riding in cars with boys,

Is this what life is about?

Before I met God,

I thought this was life.

Boyfriends, dances,

The mall and stealing,

Is this what life is really about?

Moving around,

Being replaced,

Is what my life was really about,

Until…

I met my family.

(I was adopted in 2004, and when I met this family, I knew something good was going to happen to me, so I quit everything I was doing, just to have a normal life, finally.)
