LEWISTON – South Lewiston Baptist Church will host its 43rd annual missionary conference from Friday through Sunday, Oct. 15 to 17.

A dessert fellowship is planned for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, at the Lewiston Regional Technical Center, Alfred Plourde Parkway. There will be missionary highlights and special music. The conference will continue through Sunday evening.

The conference theme is “What In the World Is Going on?” Speakers will include Wayne and Becky Smith, ministering in Columbia with New Tribes Mission and T.A. and Gretchen Smith with WFYP Radio in Augusta. Also participating will be Adam Colson, who ministers to children in Richmond, Va., with Child Evangelism Fellowship.

A men’s breakfast and fellowship is planned for 7:45 a.m. Saturday at the church. The women will meet at 10 a.m. for a brunch and devotional in an area home. A potluck supper is planned at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the church followed by workshops that involve each missionary presenting highlights in their mission field.

The missionary guests will speak at morning and evening services on Sunday. The morning service will begin at 10:45 and the evening service at 6.

The church is located at 1919 Lisbon Rd. Everyone is welcome to attend the activities. More information may be obtained by calling the church at 783-3316.
