LEWISTON – Therese Landry Lamothe Prevost, 79, of Lewiston, died Sunday, Oct. 10, at her home.

Born in Mont-Carmel, P.Q. Canada Sept. 4, 1925, a daughter of Alexandre and Annie Richard Landry, she was educated in Canadian schools.

She was predeceased by her first husband of 27 years, Gerard Lamothe, in Setpember of 1972, and also by her second husband, Alban Prevost, in February of 2000.

She attended Ss. Peter and Paul’s Parish, and enjoyed knitting, sewing, doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, and going to watch her grandsons play hockey. She was also an avid Red Sox fan.

She is survived by two daughters, Ghislaine Lamothe-St.Germain of Shawnigan, Sud, Quebec, and Carole Lamothe-St.Pierre and her companion, Stan Dumont, of Greene; two sons, Roger Lamothe and his companion, Line Simoneau, of Montreal, and Denis Lamothe and his wife, Vicky, of Greene; four grandchildren, Yves St. Germain, Ryan St. Pierre and his companion, Jessica Breton, and Elijah and Shuler Lamothe; a great-granddaughter, Emily Ryan St. Pierre; and two sisters, Mariette Landry-Rheault of Trois Riviere, P.Q., and Gertrude Landry-Brunel of Cap-de-la Madeleine, P.Q.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Graziella Rheault, Beatrice Rheault, Suzanne Gelinas, and Irene Richard; and by four brothers, Armand, Gaston, Rudolphe, and Romuald Landry.
