LEWISTON – Madora Jipson was called to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Nov. 2, after a courageous battle with cancer.

What she loved most in life was being with her family. She was a most loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and all around best friend to all who knew her. She loved to knit, play computer games, card games and she enjoyed fellowship with all of her friends at Grace Fellowship Church.

The holidays were her favorite time of year when all of her family would come together. She was very proud of her family. She worked hard all her life.

She is survived by four brothers, Lester Raymond, of Millinocket, Brian Roy, of Alaska, Lawrence Roy, of Florida, and Lawrence Raymond, of Lincoln; four sisters, Eva Sibley, of Burlington, Doris Thompson, of Arizona, Irene Park, of Pennsylvania, and Mary Dimezza of New York. She enjoyed doing puzzles and cross stitching. Mrs. Jipson is also survived by Wallace Jipson Sr.; and seven wonderful children, four sons, Arnold Jipson and his wife, Florence, of Mechanic Falls, Carroll Jipson, of Maryland, Kevlin Jipson and his friend, Debbie, of Auburn, Asa Jipson and his wife, Heather, of Maryland; three daughters, Beverly Thomas and her husband, Sam, of Poland, Charlene Toussaint and her husband, Russ, of Mechanic Falls and Arline Keough, of Maryland; 20 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
