LEWISTON – Linda A. (Arsenault) Whitley, 60, of 143 Mill St., (Barker Arms), Auburn passed away surrounded by family and friends at Marshwood Care and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, Nov. 6.

She was born in Lewiston on Feb. 18, 1944, the daughter of Theodore Joseph Arsenault and Carolyn Gertrude Mason. She attended Auburn schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1962.

Her work history included Carroll Reed in Conway, NH, Peoples Heritage Bank in Lewiston, Sandcastle Preschool in Lewiston and many years with her sister at Lois Camire School of Dance on Summer Street in Auburn. After her sister’s passing she continued to work with Linda Camire at Camire School of Dance.

She enjoyed working with children, games and puzzles and assisting in various capacities at Community Little Theater in Auburn.

She is survived by her sons, David Scott Whitley, of Eau Claire, Wisc., and Darrell Joseph Whitley, of Auburn; her daughter, Darlene Marie Wolfson and husband, Stephen Paul Wolfson Jr., of Holly Hill, Fla.; three grandchildren, Aaron and David Whitley, of Eau Claire, Wisc., and Alexa Renee Wolfson, of Holly Hill, Fla.; one great-grandchild; and a loving circle of extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her father in 1986, her mother in 2003, and her sister in 2000.
