SOUTH PARIS – Mary M. Pulsifer, 77, of Norway, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, Monday, Nov. 8, at the Maine Veterans Home.

She was born in South Paris on July 28, 1927, the daughter of Kenneth Millett and Minola Dean Millett Hutchinson. She attended schools in Paris and Norway. She had been a waitress at Norway Diner, Barjo’s and at Fletcher’s Candy Store.

She was also employed at Wilner Wood Products and had been a homemaker all of her life. She was a member of the Norway Baptist Church and was Missionary treasurer and a member of TOPS.

She enjoyed reading, needlepoint, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She married Ardine Pulsifer on Sept. 1, 1945.

She is survived by her husband, of Norway; a son, Lloyd and his wife, Kathryn, of Oxford; three daughters, Kathy and her husband, Michael Porter, of Oxford, Pamela and her husband, Raymond August, of South Paris and Terry and her husband, Peter Masterman, of South Paris; nine grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Jean Rogers, of Norway and Janice Slattery, of West Minot.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Gordon, Milford and Robert Millett, and a sister, Joyce Batchelder.
