AUBURN – Margery Schuler, a local painter, will discuss her journeys around the world and her most recent trek on the Lewis and Clark Trail from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Book Burrow and Cafe, 1B Great Falls Plaza.

Participants will learn how to do a watercolor sketch. This is the first in “teenior” programming at the Auburn Public Library geared toward teens through seniors.

Rotary lunch

LEWISTON – The Thursday, Nov. 18, meeting of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club will be Family and Friends Day. The annual special luncheon is for members to share the Rotary experience with spouses, parents and friends. No speaker is scheduled. Anyone interested in knowing more about Rotary is invited to the noon meeting at the Ramada Inn. Cost of the luncheon is $8.

Faith workshop

LEWISTON – Maine will host a faith-based cultural competency workshop given by Mahn Krua and Torli Krua, Liberian refugee ministers, from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 20, at the South Lewiston Baptist Church, 1919 Lisbon Road.

Degree Day

AUBURN – Androscoggin Pomona Grange has planned a Degree Day at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, at Minot Center Grange. The four degrees will be worked by Androscoggin Pomona Master Wayne Sherman and his slate of officers. A light luncheon will be served between the second and third degrees.
