Stress relief ideas offered at meeting

RUMFORD – The next Community Networking Meeting, sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities Coalition is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1. The meeting will be held in the community room of Scrappers DoMaine, located on Canal Street. You will need to enter through the store’s main entrance.

Dr. Angella Roberts will share her relaxation techniques help relieve stress during the holiday season. The Networking Meeting is an opportunity for all organizations within the River Valley area to get together and share information, ideas and accomplishments. Photo exhibit opens Friday

RUMFORD – The December exhibit at Pennacook Art Center, “Through the Lens,” will feature many of this area’s expert photographers. The opening reception will be from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 3, free and open to the public. At 6:30, master photographer Dirk MacKnight will give a gallery talk on “What Makes a Good Photo?” Pennacook Art Center is at 82 Congress St. in Rumford. It is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
