The Outing Club took its second trip on Sunday, Oct. 9 to Camden’s Mt. Megunticook. Although only three students dare to face the 1,380 foot peak, they all still had a “blast.” They first hiked up Mt. Megunticook, the tallest mountain in the Camden Hills State Park. Then they hiked up the very steep Maiden’s Cliff and had lunch up at the top. After their tummies were full, the four drove up Mt. Baltic where they looked at the beautiful scenery in the harbor below. All of them loved the hike and can’t wait for the next Outing Club trip, which is the famous Boston Trip on Sat., Nov. 13.
