LEWISTON – The Capital One Bowl halftime show has announced the recent All-American selection of Drum Major Rebekah Choate from the Lewiston High School Blue Devil Marching Band to the official 2005 Capital One Bowl halftime performance cast.
The New Year’s Day extravaganza, held in Orlando and broadcast nationally on ABC-Television, will feature a student pageantry presentation. Show designers are under way with plans.
The Capital One Bowl football game pits two traditional gridiron powerhouses, the Big 10 and Southeastern athletic conferences, in a New Year’s Day bowl. In addition, “All American” cast members will visit attractions in central Florida. The six-day performance tour includes excursions to Universal Studios Florida and Walt Disney World.
