AUBURN – Cub Scout Pack 153 and Boy Scout Troop 153, sponsored by New Auburn Post 153, American Legion, have been crafting beaded canes and wreaths for patients at Togus. Some will also go to nursing homes and shut-in veterans.

Parents joined their children in making the crafts.

The Scouts caroled at Montello Nursing Home in Lewiston on Dec. 11 and at Marshwood Nursing Home in Lewiston Saturday, Dec. 18, where they caroled and presented the gifts they made themselves.

Anyone interested in joining Boy Scouts can call Scoutmaster Ron Poulin at 784-2875 or Cub Scouts, Cubmaster Andrew Breau at 783-0653.
