MEXICO – A snowstorm postponed a budget workshop and regular selectmen’s meeting Wednesday night.

The budget session has been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at the town office, and the selectmen’s meeting set for 6:30 p.m. that same night.

Between the two meetings, selectmen plan to meet with Mexico Water District trustees at 5:30 p.m. to discuss office arrangements for water district personnel and town office personnel.

Other meetings scheduled for the remainder of this week include a 4 p.m. session of the Town Manager Search Committee on Thursday to plan the process for hiring a new manager.

Then on Friday, the committee will interview candidates at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the town office.

Both the Thursday and Friday meetings will be held in closed-door sessions.
