NEW GLOUCESTER – New Gloucester Bridge Club met Feb. 13 at the Amvets Hall, Route 100, where an eight-table Mitchell game was played.

N/S Flight A winners were: first, Claire Lyons and Mimi Bell; second, David Lock and Jeanine Kivus; and third, Judy Kamin and Shirley West; Flight B: first, Claire Lyons and Mimi Bell; second, Barbara and Paul Beegel, who also finished first in Flight C.

E/W Flight A winners were: first, Janet and Vern Arey; second, Salley Bean and David Magee; third, Marta Clements and Nancy Farmer; Flight B: first, Marta Clements and Nancy Farmer; second, Betty and Doug Sise; Flight C: first, Audry Burns and Linda Leotsakos.

Another game will be held at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, at the Amvets Hall. A partner is guaranteed if there 10 minutes before game time. For information call Les Buzzell at 783-4153 or cell 754-9153.

Heritage Day

BETHEL – The 30th annual Bethel Historical Society Heritage Day will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the society’s Regional History Center.

Special tours of the Dr. Moses Mason House will be offered and hot Indian pudding will be served from the hearth of the winter kitchen.

At the O’Neil Robinson House, there will be a gathering of craftspeople to demonstrate and exhibit traditional crafts. There will also be historical videos, three exhibits, and the museum shop will be open. A representative from the Oxford County Bicentennial Committee has been invited to be present to provide more information on the celebration.
