AUBURN – The Central Maine Board of Approved Baseball Umpires is scheduled to conduct rules clinics for prospective umpires at Edward Little High School on the following dates: Feb. 26, March 5 and 12. Sessions will begin at 10 a.m. and continue for 2 hours.

All 3 sessions are mandatory to work the 2005 season.

National High School Federation rule books will be available at the first session for a fee of $7. Each rule will be covered, as well as proper mechanics, to provide a good foundation for starting the 1-year apprenticeship. All veterans are invited to attend as well to review rules and to assist in instructing the apprentices.
