AUBURN – Playoffs have begun in L-A Senior Hockey League.

The Competitive Division has 2 brackets for the playoffs. Following are opening playoff results, Feb. 28: Bracket 1: DMD Barbaricks 5 L-A Kings 4; B&B Catering 3 Team Bud Light 3. Bracket 2: Lisbon Street News 8 River Rats 6; St. Laurent & Sons 5 Gee & Bee Sports 2. Additional bracket games are slated March 6 and 12. The bracket champs will clash for the overall title on Sunday, March 13 at 3:30. Following is the schedule for Sunday, March 6: 6:00, Lisbon Street News vs Gee & Bee; 7:15, DMD Barbaricks vs Team Bud Light; 8:30, St. Laurent vs River Rats; 9:45, B&B Catering vs L-A Kings.

The Recreational Division began its playoffs Feb. 25, with the following results: L-A Stars 5 Radio City 2; Custom Metal Fab 5 Budget Document Technology 2; Lewiston Capitals 6 Play It Again Sports 4. Three more games were set for last night, Budget Document vs Caps, Play It Again vs Radio City, and Custom Metal vs L-A Stars. Additional games are set for March 7 and 11, with the top 2 teams clashing for the overall championship on Sunday, March 13 at 2:15 p.m. March 7 schedule: 7:30 p.m., Play It Again vs L-A Stars; 8:45, Caps vs Custom Metal; 10:00, Budget Document vs Radio City.
