LEWISTON – Lucille F. Brillant, 87, a resident of 22 Valley St., Lewiston, died early Tuesday morning at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion following a brief illness.

She was born in Auburn, Nov. 11, 1917, the daughter of Ulric and Marie (Bellemare) Gardner.

She was a lifelong resident of the community. She was a homemaker all of her life and was a member of Holy Cross Church, Holy Cross Senior Citizens, Covenant 50, Horizons 55 and Cercle Sacrament.

Survivors include one daughter, Marie Bizier of Lewiston; one grandson, Jon Bizier and his fiance, Bean, both of Lewiston; one sister-in-law, Therese Gardner of Lewiston; one niece, Linda Langley of Lewiston; and one nephew, Dr. Maurice Gardner of Auburn.

She was predeceased by her husband, Laurier, April 30, 1966; one son-in-law, Paul Bizier in 1999; and one brother, Alphonse Gardner.
