BETHEL – The Board of Assessors will meet at 8 a.m. Friday, April 15, at the town office to discuss proposals for the revaluation of all taxable real estate and personal property.

PERU – John W. Turner, superintendent of schools, has announced that kindergarten registration and screening will be held on Friday, May 13. Peru residents who have a child who will be 5 on or before Oct. 15, should phone the school office at 562-7223 to make an appointment for the registration and screening.
Society supper
CARTHAGE – The Carthage Historical Society will have a potluck supper at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at the Carthage Historical Society building, followed by a presentation by Al Winter telling the history of the Winter family of Winter Hill, South Carthage. Along with the Winter family story, he will bring family pictures and items to show. The public is welcome.
